Our mission is to preserve and protect property values, history, community and our charming way of life. If you love being part of a diverse and friendly community and are looking for a sense of serenity — you’ve come to the right place.

Get To Know Us

We welcome all and are glad you are here!

We are a residential single family community of 136 homes, located on 8 streets, just minutes away from the Country Club Plaza, Prairie Village, State Line Road and from numerous restaurants, schools, grocery stores, and other retail establishments.

Fieldston Homes Association was established in 1927. before Fairway became incorporated in 1949. The association took care of all services that the city did not do.

Today, the Fieldston Homes Association services now include 2 fall leaf pickups and maintenance of seven islands that the association owns. It has officers, and for each street, representatives. It has an annual meeting, held in October. We host a Block Party in June, which is a wonderful chance to get to know your neighbor in an informal and festive setting.

Recycling bins are available for plastic and paper. Please consider your environmental impact and recycle as much as possible. Recycling pickup is on the same day as garbage pickup.

Curbside leaf removal service is provided twice yearly, the Sunday before Thanksgiving in November and the first weekend in December. Please rake your leaves to the curb without blocking any sidewalks and do not rake any leaves in the gutter. Mark your calendars and look for the Leaf Pickup signs as a reminder!

Island Landscape & Maintenance

Terri Tansey, Island Chair

The Fieldston Home Association maintains seven islands, which are professionally landscaped and maintained year round. These islands add beauty, green space and the occasional bench to invite conversation. Some neighbors use their islands as meeting places for street events. Terri Tansey, our former President, heads up this committee. She is available for suggestions and keeps the islands looking fantastic.
